[Recipe] Turmeric Latte (Healthy Coffee Substitute)
We can all agree that coffee is absolutely delicious.
But sometimes it's nice to change it up, or for some, replace coffee with a new favorite, healthy drink.
For this reason, we’d like to share with you this yummy drink recipe which is a great coffee substitute.
Turmeric latte, also known as golden milk, is very easy to prepare and incredibly healthy. It has high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that might help alleviate pain, promote healthy skin, improve mood and gain restful sleep.
For this recipe, you will need:
- 8 oz of Water
- 2-3 teaspoons of Organic Coconut Milk Powder - amount depends upon your desired creaminess
- 1 teaspoon of Organic Turmeric Powder
- ½ teaspoon of Organic Ginger Powder
- A pinch of extra fine gourmet Himalayan salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of coconut palm sugar or a smidgen of our 80% Luo Han Guo Extract
- A dash of cinnamon powder
Start by boiling water and placing it in your favorite cup. Add organic coconut milk powder and stir until you get a nice, creamy and foamy consistency. Now it’s time to add organic turmeric powder, ginger powder, Himalayan salt, black pepper, coconut palm sugar or Luo Han Guo extract and keep stirring.
Finally, garnish your latte with a dash of cinnamon powder and enjoy your favorite new drink!
