Organic hibiscus flower
You may be familiar with hibiscus, known as “sour tea”, a delicious and refreshing summertime drink. However, this pleasant-tasting herb with the deep-red color may support over all health. Originally from Angola, hibiscus is now cultivated throughout tropical and subtropical regions, especially in Sudan, Egypt, Thailand, Mexico, and China. Approximately 15-30 percent of the hibiscus plant is made up of plant acids, including citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid and allo-hydroxycitric acid lactone — i.e. hibiscus acid, which is unique to hibiscus. Other chemical constituents are many; however, some of the most important include alkaloids, anthocyanins, and quercetin.
Organic eleuthero root
Siberian Ginseng is part of the Aralia family, as is the more commonly known Chinese Ginseng. Found in Siberia, northern China, and parts of Japan, this shrub can reach up to six feet tall at maturity. It is sometimes called "spiny" Ginseng, referring to its botanical name of Acanthopanax ("acantho" means spiny). Now correctly called Eleutherococcus, Siberian Ginseng grows abundantly in the wild, and like the other Ginsengs, has a relatively large root system. The roots are the coveted part of the plant, as they contain the active compounds, called eleutherosides. These eleutherosides include long chain sugars, known as glycosides, which have tonic properties. Some herbalist consider this the only true adaptogen.

In addition, extracts from parsley have been used in animal studies to help increase the antioxidant capacity of the blood. Parsley contains two types of unusual components that provide unique health benefits. The first type is volatile oil components—including myristicin, limonene, eugenol, and alpha-thujene. The second type is flavonoids—including apiin, apigenin, crisoeriol, and luteolin.
