Return & Refund Policies

At Z Natural Foods, your satisfaction is at the heart of what we do. If you have any concerns about your purchase, we welcome you to reach out to our Customer Service Department as soon as possible.

Product Quality Assurance with Proper Storage
We stand behind the quality of our products. To maintain their nutritional profile and natural composition, it’s important to follow the storage guidelines on the product label. Our products are made from organic ingredients that naturally vary in taste, aroma, and appearance—something we consider a feature, not a flaw (WHO Guidelines on Food Fortification, 2006; USDA Food Composition Databases).

What Doesn’t Qualify for Return or Refund
If you want to return a product simply because you don’t like the taste or notice batch-to-batch variations, we can’t offer a refund according to our current policies (FDA Guidelines on Food Labeling, 2020). Additionally, refunds cannot be given on products that are not returned to us, inspected, and in resellable condition.

Time-Sensitive Return Procedures
To be eligible for a refund or credit, please return your purchase within 30 days of the original transaction. Custom orders and special packaging are not eligible for returns. For all returns, you’ll need to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from us first. Without this, we can’t process your return (Federal Trade Commission, 16 CFR Part 255).

Criteria for Eligible Refunds or Credits
Products returned with an RMA number and in an original, resellable condition may be subject to refunds, exclusive of restocking and shipping fees.

Cost Considerations
Your original shipping costs are non-refundable. Returned products must be sealed and in their original condition. They also need to pass a thorough quality check before we can put them back on our shelves. We may charge a restocking fee of up to 20%. You'll need to cover the return shipping costs (USDA Handling Guidelines for Perishable Goods).

Fixing Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If something goes wrong with your shipment, we’ll do our best to make it right. That could mean reshipping your order or offering you a full refund (National Institutes of Health, Logistics Management Best Practices).

Shopping Through Other Retailers
This return policy only applies to purchases made directly through Z Natural Foods. For items bought from other retailers, please work with them directly for returns.
