Conversely, the stomach's optimal performance necessitates a dry environment to prevent overheating and the emergence of stomach fire (Ma et al., 2017, International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Medicine). The intricate interplay between the spleen and stomach, representing Yin and Yang partners in TCM, underscores the nuanced approach to understanding Celiac disease from a traditional perspective.
