About the Quality of our Cacao
It is my sincere belief that the average chocolate bar should be avoided due to high sugar content, dairy and high-temperature processing of the cacao beans. This Raw Cacao Chocolate Sauce will delightfully fill chocolate cravings and provide more quality nutrition than almost any other standard American snack or dessert.
Since our cacao is raw and low-temperature processed unlike traditional, European cacao powders, this chocolate sauce recipe offers a , well-balanced and fruitiness.
Typically, the chocolate of cacao beans is developed through fermenting and roasting which destroys the nutrition of traditional cacao -- we do not do this at Z Natural Foods.
Our goal is to preserve the nutrition by ensuring proper handling of the raw cacao beans most companies that provide high temperature processed cacao. We have a progressive supplier who has pioneered a low temp process for cacao which meets the International Raw Standards. This well thought out process keeps the polyphenol nutritional power .
