WARNING: These Flavored Cashews are Highly Addictive!

These Flavored Cashew are a super simple recipe that will be a big hit at any party! While this is a very easy recipe, the preparation of the cashews and then the slow cooking (or dehydration) of the cashews takes the most time.

If you already made the BBQ Vegetable Blend powder and the Masala Blend (Curry) powder (conveniently stored in a cool, dry place for you to try all these wonderful ZNF recipes), this recipe will be even easier for you!

Ingredients:

  1. 2 lbs of raw cashews
  2. BBQ Vegetable Blend powder
  3. Masala Blend (Curry) powder
  4. Himalayan salt and Black pepper, to taste

Directions to Prepare the Raw Cashews:

  • 2 lbs of raw cashews divided in two bowls of 1 lb each.
  • Cover with filtered water and let soak for 4 hours.
  • Drain and rinse.
  • Pat dry with a paper towel.

Directions:

In Bowl #1: Mix half the soaked and rinsed cashews with 3 tbsp of Masala Blend powder (or a curry blend of your choice) and salt-and-pepper to taste (approximately ½ tsp each).

In Bowl #2: Mix the other half of soaked and rinsed cashews with 4 tbsp of BBQ Blend and salt-and-pepper to taste (approximately ½ tsp each).

Final Step: Place in the dehydrator or oven at 165 degrees for 12 hours.
