Introducing: Nutty Berry Oats - a healthy and delicious granola (cereal)
This wonderful recipe is loaded with fiber, antioxidants, healthy fats, protein, vitamins and minerals.
You can eat this as a cereal for breakfast, or as a snack when you are on-the-go and the even better thing about this tasty granola is that you will never feel guilty again!
This recipe is very easy and will be a great way to involve the kids - or even the husband - in the kitchen cooking. So indulge yourself in this tasty, easy to make and super healthy snack that you and your family will love.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ Cup of Rolled Oats (Organic)
- 1 Tbsp of Strawberry Powder (Organic)
- ½ Tbsp of Raspberry Powder (Organic)
- ½ Tbsp of Pomegranate Juice Powder (Organic)
- ⅛ Tsp of Beet Root Powder (Organic)
- 1 Tsp of Vanilla Flavor or Vanilla Extract
- 5 Tbsp of Syrup (mix palm sugar and water in an equal ratio of 1:1)
- Roasted Chopped Cashews, Almonds and Walnuts (Organic) (Optional)
Directions:
Part 1: Berry Flavor Oats
- Mix all powders (Ingredients No.2-5) together with ½ tsp of vanilla flavor and 2 ½ Tbsp of syrup, mix well.
- Add fruity syrup into 3/4 cup of oats, mix well, and keep outside at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Bake the oats at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, mix well, and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Leave in the bowl until cool down.
Part 2: Vanilla Flavor Oats
- Mix ½ tsp of vanilla flavor and 2 ½ tbsp of syrup together, then add to
¾ cup of oats, mix well and keep outside at room temperature for 30 minutes. - Bake the oats at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, mix well, and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Leave in the bowl until cool down.
Part 3: Nutty Berry Oats
- Mix Berry Flavor Oats and Vanilla Flavor Oats together.
- Add roasted chopped cashews, almonds and walnuts.
- Eat plain as a snack or add milk for delicious healthy breakfast.
