Barley Grass Powder - Organic
Barley grass is a type of grass that is part of the barley plant and has been used by humans for thousands of years.
It is native to regions of Europe, Asia, and Africa and is one of the oldest domesticated crops. It was first cultivated in the Fertile Crescent, an area of the Near East known for its abundant natural resources.
The ancient Egyptians, Sumerians, and Romans used barley for food. In the Middle Ages, it was used to make various types of beverages.
Historically, barley grass has been consumed due to its high levels of quality nourishment. It is also used in many products, such as bread, cereals, and smoothies.
In ancient Egypt, the Pharaohs used barley grass for its constituent properties. In modern times, barley grass powder is gaining popularity for its quality components.
Barley grass powder is also considered a complete source of protein, making it a great addition to a vegetarian or vegan diet.
Taste, smell, texture, and color vary from batch to batch. Due to its nature, this powder tends to clump. If clumping occurs, lay the bag on a flat surface and place a towel over the bag. Then pound on the bag until the clumps break up. The towel will help protect the bag from damage. To further reduce clumping, push as much air as possible before sealing the pouch and storing it in the refrigerator or freezer.
Suggested Use: Mix one tablespoon with juice and yogurt, or add to your favorite smoothie.
Mixing Suggestion: To increase flavor and nutritional profile, combine with our mulberry powder.

Not only does this substance have a strong anti-inflammatory action, but it was also shown to actually repair the DNA in the cells of the body. This aided in the prevention of cancer, aging, and cell death. He reported in a Japan Pharmacy Science Association meeting that P4D1 suppresses or cures pancreatitis, stomatitis, inflammation of the oral cavity, and dermatitis, and also lacerations of the stomach and duodenum.
